Bad question on my part, I was able to log in, but all the posts were "unavailable" Could anyone read posts?
Hmm. Now I can also. Next question. I want to test how well it protects against real malware. How would I set it up?
It didn't. I installed it, but when I tried to run some of the malware isolated it wouldn't show an isolated window and it just ran normally. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it.

I have the MBAE module off at the moment so that should be an issue. I may have another try this afternoon.
@Peter2150 if you test ReHIPS compatibility with other security softwares , be sure to put the proper exclusions (as @SHvFl mentioned) , - AG will block ReHIPS isolation unless 3 rehips processes are added to power apps. - HMPA forces dlls into each ReHIPS processes so it may cause incompatibilities as it did before. so REHIPS should be excluded in HMPA to avoid potential issues. i can't tell for other products ; i only beta test HMPA, ReHIPS and Appguard at the moment. If you test ReHIPS against malwares, the best practice is to use a dedicated test system without other security products.
Thanks guest. I am doing it in a VM, so I can easily kill other software. I am just not sure it's worth the effort at this point. Will think about it.
i would wait the stable release before doing malware tests, because things may change. however for compatibility tests this is the right moment, so you can report.
Hi guest I probably won't. I really am not interested in the HIPS stuff. FOR MY setup I don't see the need. Pete PS. Guys thanks for the help, but I just don't see a fit for me at this point.
Hi Peter, I know a bit your setup and indeed you don't really need it , if you ever use it , i guess it is more by curiosity or at least know what it does.
Far from it, it is very active ( im closed-beta tester, i have regular interactions with the devs). Also, they prioritize stability of their product and don't want rush and release buggy/unsecure version. Actually they are working mostly on user-friendliness (security aspect is done) , it take time because we submitted them dozens of pages of improvements to make it easier to handle. A stable version will be released soon, cant tell when exactly however. the actual version is more a RC than a beta and quite stable. Just be patient, anyway you can't buy the current version (v2.2) yet; so no need to worry.
I don't dispute your word but I guess from what I read on the release page it down to how you understand "soon"....The last informative post on 2.20 was coming soon and its dated ~ 2016/04/05 that's coming onto 10 months, eventually would be more suited
I agree that there will be a release soon. I'm hoping it's the stable release, but another beta is totally fine. As long as it comes with most, if not all, of the fixes, then I'll use it again. @clubhouse1 Trust us. It's from the dev, himself, that said so. He mentioned it last January, 2017.
you are totally right, if all is good , then "soon" will be what it is supposed to mean , if a major flaw appears, "someday this year" may be more correct
