    Hey folks,

Have any of you ever seen this error message before? I just scanned my pc and received this error message. It has never happened to me before and is a new one on me.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks. :)

I should point out, this was AFTER upgrading MS Office 2003 to Service Pack 2.

    SP2 is indeed the trouble-maker.

    You can try:

    1. Re-install Regseeker AFTER upgrading MS Office.

    If the problem isn't solved:

    2. Clean the registry with the following keys activated:

Thank you smokey. I was only able to scan with choice number 2 that you posted. I hope this is fixed in a future release of RegSeeker. I rather like this product.

I have already downloaded RegSeeker 1.45 but was very anxious and haven't tried yet to remove the found entries after registry cleaning scans. And some says that it's very aggressive. Maybe, an older version is more safe... anyone give me a links where can I download the 1.30 and 1.35 versions?

    Tnx :D

Give me in a Private Message your email-address and I will send you this version.

    Try this:

    1) Uninstall SP2
    2) Uninstall Regseeker
    3) Re-install SP2
    4) Re-install Regseeker

Be sure, to re-install Regseeker AFTER installing SP2!!!

I have been questioning the wisdom of continued use of RegSeeker. Hoverdesk has not been supporting their software for quite some time. It appears as though they stopped developement of all of their software about 2 years ago. Look at thier forum site, and their latest news postings:

    Hi Close,

It doesn't make any difference to me about the updates, as i have been using V1.35 for several years error free, and wouldn't be without it.

They made it right first time round, and the newer version is sitting in my Apps folder getting dusty, as i much prefer V1.35.

I use 1.45 all the time. I just worry that some change to Windows will cause problems.

Im with you guys as I never normally have a problem. I just do not want to uninstall SP2 for MS Office 2003. :doubt:

So for now, I guess I will just have to deal with it.
