    BTW Ron
When I run regseeker's "clean the registry" I get error message with windows sound (dong)
    ------------------
    Windows - no disk
    No disk in the drive
please insert disk in the drive
    ------------------
which drive! i don't know. And non of the 3 buttons "cancel", "try again" or "continue" work
so I have to ctrl-alt-delete and there it reads (regseeker-not responding)
    Any idea what causes this

I just downloaded from the link on the page that says 1.45. However when run it still comes up as the old 1.35 build 1203... which is what is shown in the screenshot.

So where is 1.45 and surely it should be a later build.

Something is not right about this 1.45... anyone found the same problem.

It's working fine here Hadi. Did Regseeker 1.35 work alright?

Ron... I don't understand this at all.

How did you get that new version you have shown there.

I am still installing the old 1.35 from the download link... and I have uninstalled the old version as well now... but the new downzip still loads the old version. Also my cache has been cleaned ages ago since I installed the original 1.35. Maybe I'm just too tired right now... may retry again tomorrow.

EDIT> we posted same time... I will try the other link you gave above... thanks.

    Thanks Ron... yep that worked.

Now got the new version installed... will try it out tomorrow.

Thanks for the other link there... not sure why it didn't work from the regseeker page... not to worry... all fine now... cheers.

Wow... I like it a lot.

I couldn't resist running the reg cleaner tonight.

It's found over 60 new entries from the old one.

I also like the new colour scheme as well... thanks for the info and links Ron.

    Yes Ron it did
The error comes when regseeker scannig (reaches in its scanning)the entrry 175 after hitting "cancel" on error message 10 times regseeker continue till it reaches the entry 299 then it appears again.

I'm also using "RegSupreme". could be that this has removed an important entry.

    Funny thing though
    RegSupreme "paid" finds 28 entries
    Regseeker "free" finds 299 entries

    which one should I trust

    Hadi

RegSupreme is probably not as aggressive in scanning as Regseeker. Since Regseeker is beta and RegSupreme is a mature app, I would stick with RegSupreme.
