I had a machine we had a worst job of fixing up... it was not too badly infected, but it came to us with an internet connection that was fast after reboot and got slower and slower as time progressed... it was hosed...

We tried a LOT of things to get it back on track, and finally threw registryfix at it... because we really couldn't find anything "wrong" - and registryfix resolved the issue - but as a side note - it removed the NOD32 control center!

An uninstall and re-install of NOD32 fixed it up - but just be aware that this might happen if you run this tool... be prepared to reinstall NOD32!
