I cannot get this beta downloaded, I have a wireless connection atm and whenever I register it takes ages to get connected to next page ...

but first of all, why this registration anyway? isn't there a direct download somewhere? I even have to give up my phonenumber lol  like I ever would do that :isay:

anyway .. it's a lot of eye candy apparently ... and I found the hips question rather a valid one ..

Maybe there are lots of download and the server cannot handle the demand.

How long did it take you guys to get a reply from Grisoft after filing out there registration form. After giving a company that I don't really want to be dealing with all my information I've been sitting for over an hour waiting for my log in details, or whatever they send, but still nothing. How come we can't download this beta from the Ewido site where we have already supplied all the details that are being asked for again.

Took them a couple of minutes to send me an e mail but it took me two or three times to get the registration right.
I'm also not into giving out my info for a beta product or any product for that matter, I think an e mail address should be enough.

    Hi, Infinity

I Agree, Why they seem want to know too much, the only thing they seem not to be asking for at the registration page is a Birth and Death Certifcate.. :D

    Take Care,
    TheQuest

after trying twice with my all my real details, name, address, phone number etc., at my two proper email address's, I set up a email address with some dodgy online email account, used a false name, false address and false phone number etc., and guess what, I recieved my login details from Grrrrrrrrsoft within seconds.
I hope all this isn't a glimpse of things to come from the ewido + grimsoft marriage.

It's interesting to note that the 4.0 Beta registration takes you to the Grisoft site and not Ewido's! The Ewido guys cannot handle their own enquiries it seems. And they want full personal particulars except for shoe size heh :0

That's really strange :doubt:, because I registered at work.
5 minutes later I looked at my webmail and it showed
a message 'Grisoft Beta Program Registration'. :D

When I came home, I looked at this message which included
my password (and User ID) to login & download the beta, which I did. :D

So that's a pretty fast response from Grisoft to my request. :thumb:

Yes I have, if you read an earlier post I explain that I had to set up an online email account and fill out the grisoft details with totally false information before getting download instructions, the point is that I have heard nothing from the registration of my correct details which I stupidly gave grisoft. If I was the only person that this was happening to I would think it was something I was doing, but seeing that there are others going through the same thing it's obvious it's some type of stuff up from grisoft. There is at least two other threads here with people complaining about the same treatment, or lack of it, and also waiting up to 24 hours with no response.
