    Hi,
I've read everything about the registration number sticking, but it has not helped me. I can put in the number, close Ewido and then open it again and I have to put in the number. What gives?
    Thanks,
    Carolo_O

Did you perform an online update immediately after you have put in the number?

    Take 2:

    Entered code, got "thank you."
Went to update, clicked on start update, got "invalid license code". Waited a sec, went to "Ready for update." Now I know code did not take.
Go back to status, wants code again.
Enter code and got a thank you again.
Does this have to be done a number of times before it takes? :)

    Carol,

Take a look at this thread, I had the same problem and sent a PM to Peter and he took care of it.

It can also be possible that you use a program like Defensewall and put Ewido in the non-trusted zone. Some firewall have such an option too... Maybe?

Please contact the support team and submit them your license code. They will check it and tell you what went wrong.

    Regards,
