Regedit Question on deleting a string value

    in this particular case reganalyzers are saying that I have a missing helpfile.

    apparently the programs uninstaller listx a .chm file to be removed during uninstall. The problem is, I routinely move or delete these files. while it probably won't hurt to leave it along, it just rubs me the wrong way to see error messages so I want to delete...something.

    I'm thinking leave the string name in tact, but delete the string value.

    here is the question: delete or write "(value not set)"
