    Hello there!
I have run SPybot and Adaware, AVG, Pandascan and A2 free trojan remover (all updated where applicable).

My problem: when I type "" in my address bar I get redirected to "".

I'm no idiot, I've gone through my HT log numerous times.... and I give up  .

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    Hi Star,

Could you try following the instructions here:
Let us know if that helps.

Oh, and Merijn's pages can be found here:

Thanks for the help. However it still isnt working properly. What concerned me was the following:

    1) Instead of getting a "Cannot find server or DNS Error" which I would expect with the address offline I get a whole new page - with a different address in the address bar (

    2) And, with the address being different than what I typed in, the title of the page reads as "Welcome to" and the page itself appears to be some sort of search page which I never selected to appear.
A search page similar to the sort I would expect to appear if I had some sort of infection.

Thank you for your help - and that link was pretty interesting - a few things I didn't know much about.
