I finally managed to get xine on red hat and i am able to see .wmv files. But i still don't know how i did it. I opened terminal and entered
    "yam install xine"
It worked for me. I have firefox, seamonkey and opera on linux. So far Opera has been good for reading on internet and firefox for media embedded website. I have installed an addon (MediaPlayerConnectivity) for firefox and it is working good for me, allowing me to watch videos on net.
So far i think, i managed some progress, i guess:)
