OS (winxp home) crashed. Opened paragon recovery disk ok. Could not figure out how to use the recovery disk program to be able to utilize the the parigon backup cd's I created.

The parigon recovery disk program being totally useless, I had to resort to the XP home recovery drive which is what I desired to avoid>>it did work though.

Are there specific instructions other than the very limited ones in the Parigon recovery disk program? other info? I am lost now as to solution.

    Thanks, Diligent

    Hi Diligent,

Boot the recovery cd, select Normal Mode, then restore.

You can take the recovery cd out now - the program has loaded into Ram.

Put your backup image cd in and browse to it with the restore Wizard.

    Hope it helps.
