Is there any safe software to record a Skype session please. This is to record a tutorial to use an appliance. And some idea of the amount of storage for an hour's session recording both sides video and sound. Thanks
Evaer (http://www.evaer.com) is what I use to record video calls made with Skype. The video size depends on the quality of the video/audio being recorded and the resolution of the video.

The program I use is a lot easier to use. Just install and have it running alongside Skype. The first time you run it, you just have to allow the program to be integrated into Skype.
This is the offline installer (no ads, no promo bundle) of Free Video Call Recorder for Skype -- record both audio and video calls in Skype: hxxp://icw.dvdvideosoft.net/FreeVideoCallRecorderForSkype.exe Home Page: http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-Video-Call-Recorder-for-Skype.htm Review: http://www.downloadcrew.com/article/29541-free_video_call_recorder_for_skype
Off course is suspicious because is made by DVDVideoSoft and the original, web installer bundles various crap. The file I posted is clean, just installed it on my PC. However, while the file is clean it also installs a shortcut on desktop that you can easily delete to the DVDVideoSoft Free Studio but that's only the shortcut, not the product itself.
Better use the full installer (49MB), not the small one. The small one is using a downloader, that may install not wanted Adware (as mentioned above)
