Recomendations for x64 Quicktime alternative please!

    I want to watch a torrent. QT is recommended but I've read some threads (admittedly several yrs old) where there have been issues with QT on x64 systems. Thank you!

    I haven't installed Quicktime for years. I like MPC-HC for media playback and it should play it, along with others like VLC.
