I see F-Prot as your avatar. How does it fare against your new virus? I was considering using F-Prot and am interested in your experience with it, especially against your new virus.

I am not going to renew F-Prot other time. My "Virus not detected by F-Prot Collection" are increasing, I sent virus to F-Prot and F-Prot doesnt detect still. I think bad, very bad F-Prot on 2013, i am very disappointed.

Try Avira Free, better than F-Prot and free. If you want to pay for antivirus try Kaspersky.

I sent the first not detected sample on May/14 (ranson new variant), today i have 21 not detected samples and F-prot doesnt detect any still.

Today i sent all of them other time.

Are you using the latest v.2013? Yours was an infrequent issue in past versions of Avira.

Since it's off topic, I suggest you to post your issue in their own forum so they can help you to find the involved file in your case.

Are you speaking about only detection, not protection?

Can you explain what is Firefox/Chrome antimalware block filter?

How do you submit files to Comodo? I did it without any result.

They don't have priority you'll have to wait months ... easier and better from the ways I gave you.

months o_O in this time the apps get several updates

Sometimes I just want to report to Comodo that some innocent unknown file can be marked as trusted. It have never worked through KillSwitch only through forum. But it's not so convenient.

I do that in 1 sec. :D Though I just want Comodo officially approve this.

I used to do that but still wonder why should users trouble with forum if it can be done in 1 sec through KillSwitch? Some sort of neglect? o_O

Avast still remains to be a serious competitor...

    Avast 8 Free

    Pup on,heuristic high.

    Explorer scan: 624/666 = 93.69% {No difference even with medium heuristics}
    After run: Evo-Gen,Filerep,Autosandox: 6 left
System clean from infection. Check from Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro.

    Total: 660/666 = 99.1%
