Readability makes Web pages more readable

    How ironic to have that article displayed on a web page that illustrates what he is talking about: tiny font, cluttered layout with 3 frames competing for the reader's attention!

    Opera (and perhaps other browsers) has always had a User Mode, where you select the font, font size, and background you want. So, with cluttered pages as that one, SHIFT + G switches to User Mode. Click the image below to see a full view. On my 1024x768 screen, it displays as Bookman Old Style font, size 18, on a blue background (easier on my eyes).

    After reading, the same shortcut toggles back to Author Mode. I couldn't survive without this feature, and for those who don't have a User Mode, this program described might offer some relief if those types of web pages bother you!
