How to make NOD32 V.3 re-scan files in quarantine manually ?
I noticed that NOD32 did not label a “threat” after the database was updated.
In NOD32’s configuration setup tree, the option to “rescan quarantined files after every update is enabled” but it does not work.

    I did the following:
Created eicar file (with realtime protection disabled) and manually added this file to quarantine. In the section “reason” it was labeled as “added by user”
Then I performed an update, and then looked in the quarantine, but in the Reason section, it was still labeled : "added by user" instead of the malware name (eicar test file) which should occur if the file was actually re-scanned in quarantine.

Anything to do about this ?

This is not possible. You'll need to restore a file from quarantine and rescan it.
