i think that i have also been hijacked, but i can't tell by whom. when i use yahoo or google search engines, the first page of search results are not the actual search results, instead it is a list of links to other search engines where my search terms are avialable. my actual search results actually start on page 2. also, a little popup, with blank address, listing three more links to other search engines....
what is this and how do i get rid of it?
i have already ran adaware, spybot and norton -- no luck....

please help, i really dont want to reformat.

    Hi anonynyc,

Before you start, please unzip hijackthis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder in the folder it's in.
These easily get lost in a Temp folder.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch =
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroFilterCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe

    O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe

    O16 - DPF: {C8BAC37C-A8D2-425E-B7FC-80B9537FB14A} (SBFullS Control) - http://www.spyblast.com/download/SBFullSInst.cab

    Download and run: http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/~merijn/files/CWShredder.exe
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

    Then reboot.

    Regards,

    Pieter
