    I don't know, I'd be a little uneasy downloading it from a third party site. Also, it seems to come from CNet, which is causing a mischief as of late. It is nice that this is available for all of the major browsers though.

    Considering that it breaks the TOS on youtube as well as other sites it is hardly surprising that you can't find one on the Chrome Web Store.

    It might be possible to examine the extension if you knew what you were looking at. I have thought about it before, but never found the time. The last extention I was looking at though seemed to show everything if you wanted to see it. I might be wrong about all that though.
