RC and SSL w/ VirusTotal

    I thought I'd enable SSL to test it a bit. For the most part it works. I tried signing into OpenDNS and it worked, as well as a few other sites.

    I then disabled real-time protection to extract a virus to upload to VirusTotal. I always use SSL with this, trying to upload the file would fail (it gets stuck on uploading)

    FireFox v3.0.6
    Vista SP1

    Perhaps you should also disable web protection, I think that it could be preventing you to send the virus... and keeping the SSL security on maybe another factor to consider... so could it be that ESS is doing that it is supposed to be doing?

    I kept web protection on always, it works if I disable SSL, but not with it enabled.
