Instant messengers are useful and fun, but insecure by their nature.

Instant messengers present many advantages for all sorts of users, both from the practical and fun points of view. They’re easy to install, configure and use, and therefore they’re widely used all over the world, and the expansion doesn’t seem to stop. For that mere reason the IM proves to be a source of virus infection for computers. More accurately, the insecurity that comes when transfering files, combined with the growing number of users and with the tremendous amount of information exchanged all over the world are the reason why the Instant Messengers need protection.

To put it more simply, it’s better to be safe than to be sorry, especially when the protection comes for FREE for two of the most popular Instant Messengers in the world: ICQ and MSN.

RAV4ICQ and RAV4MSN scan and clean infected files
Configure the type of scanning and actions to be taken
    Log file available

Simply download RAV for ICQ or RAV for MSN, and be safe. After launching the application, an icon will appear in the system tray, letting you know that the product is running. You can manage RAV from the system tray, by configuring the type of scanning and actions to be taken (heuristics, scan inside archives and take the desired actions for infected/suspicious files). A log file is also available containing information on the files scanned and the actions applied on the infected/suspicious files.
