I have avast installed now and I deleted AVG anti virus. Will anything bad happen to Avast since I had another anti virus program installed at the same time by accident?

Like NOD32, AVG uninstalls pretty clean.

Yes, it is my experience that AVG leaves little to no leftovers when uninstalled. ;)

AVG usually leaves *nothing* when uninstalled, except if you tell it to leave your saved settings.
