Any ideas why RAServer would be using up 80-90% of my CPU making my server really slow?

Mmmm... not off the top of my head, no. o_O

Are there any clients connect to the RA Server, or is it just doing this totally on its own? Which version of RA Server do you have installed? Also, which operating system do you have on that computer?

    Latest version 1.0.11?

Running on Windows 2003 Std Server.

seems to have gone quite over night and is running fine.

Maybe the RA Server was going through periodic database maintenance when you happened to be looking at it. From the RA Client, go to Tools --> Server Options... to see the various settings. That is the only explanation I can think of at the moment.
