    Quick Fix Firefox 4 tweaks!

Get Rid of the Opera copycat Look.... Tabs on top, New Menu Bar...ect.

Blurry Font Problem in FireFox 4

Enter about:config in the adress bar, click enter, and toggle the value of property "gfx.direct2d.disabled” to "true"......Restart FF
You should now have smooth fonts.

I Also Changed the browser Font to Segoe UI in Options Under Content, this is a user preference....

Change the new Tabs On Top back to Tabs on Bottom
    .

    Re-Enable The Session Save Prompt

So you can restore your tabs again when you restart Firefox

A minor point but ... I prefer Verdana purely on the basis of the lower size of the font folder (seen in WinXP's control panel). Verdana = 168K; Segoe Ui = 498K. I just hope it's one less straw on my camel's back.

And, as far as possible, I try to make changes using the Stylish add-on. The tweaks are immediately reflected (without need of a restart) plus there's a little syntax checking built-in.

I would be keen to know of tweaks by others, especially in enhancing visibility/contrast.

Agreed. Same can be said for the Menu Bar.

To disable tab animation: in about:config set browser.tabs.animate to false

The more they seem to add, the more I seem to disable.
