    Hello All

I've only ever used machines with 'standard' CD/DVD optical drives - today I looked at a couple of Vaios on line and noticed that certain configurable builds would have only a BluRay Disc Writer.

Can these also read/write DVD and CD? I don't seem to be able to finda clear answer anywhere - least of all on the Sony notebook spec. pages.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, I'm pretty sure they can burn the other formats too
