Question to check IE10 & WFW

  1. When I disable IE10 to go outbound with Windows FireWall, I am able to enter for example www.google.com in the address bar and connect out o_O

Anyone care to check when you use WFW and IE10?

    I am on Windows7 32 bits

Have FireWall rules in Group Policy (so they can not be changed through firewall application interface)

For tabs, homepage(s) et cetera the firewall rules DO work, only the adress (search bar) is able to sneak through, even with block FW rule.

Everything is OK here. Windows 7 32-bit and IE10.

Maybe a problem with your GP configuration? Have you tried without GP config, and only use WFAS GUI?

  3. Thanks, so it is misconfiguration on my side, will check your suggestion.
