Will the install ProcessGuard detect a rootkit if present or just prevent one from installing?

Hi hardyhar, ProcessGuard will stop rootkits from installing and may aid in identifying some rootkits but if you have a rootkit basically it owns your machine - Cleaning a stealthed rootkit is very difficult if not impossible to even expert users. Almost certainly quicker to reformat and start again.
They are not good news. :(
