    Hello All,

A few quick questions that I would like someone to confirm for me if possible.

As anyone that has this software might know, it can be setup to run scheduled scans at days/times of your choice.

Currently I am testing this software on a non-administrative account. So far, it seems that the automated scans do NOT work, unless you are an admin on the box. But with admin privledges, it seems to work fine.

Has anyone else encountered this or could it be a fluke? NOTE: This is also the case for downloading and installing the updated spyware definitions.

This is on a Windows XP Pro machine with SP2 installed.

If this is the case, are there any workarounds that someone here might know of?

Thanks in advance for any/all replys.

    Regards,

    Jag

    Well, my thoughts....

If you are using WinXP on a non-administrative account, the MSAS software would'nt have correct rights to modify or delete files or stop running processes if they had been marked as "System processes".
