    Hello!

Being that the holidays are coming up, I'd like to purchase my husband a necklace hes wanted. Just wondering if anyone thinks for a approx. 5'9 or 6'2 tall man if a 20" necklace chain will look 'good enough' or does it need to be longer or shorter so the pendant looks about right...

Thanks everyone, just need advice to get an idea as to what size of chain I should buy for the pendant.

What belt size does he take..then do 3/4 of that for a necklace.

Hi Primrose, well I asked him and he said he's not sure lol, but I said ok well lets see if it says on it somewhere... any numbers. And I came across "42/105" I will assume 42 is the size of belt.

Could you help me figure out what size of chain I need or anyone, please :)

( I am not good at math lol )

5'9 or 6'2 tall man o_O Is that 6'2 with five inch spiked heels..or have you decided to settle for 5'9 ? How big is the pendant ?

Well, he hasn't seen how tall he is in a while but I am leaning torwards he's 5 foot 9 inches tall.

The pendant is 1&1/2" tall x 7/8" wide and comes with a 20" chain....

I am thinking if his belt size is 42..then neck size around 18 1/2 and twenty inches is not long enough..3/4 of 42 is approx 30 inches..and depending on where he wants it to hang..would be nice between 25 to 30..unless he wants a choker.

Hi, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I would think he would want the actual pendant below the neck, about 3-4 inches below the neck... So we'll see how the 20" chain looks but I suppose a 22" or 24" might be more ideal?

    Hey Primmy,

I thought we chipped in and got Big Buckie a 5" chain w/a 50lb pendant for his B'day. We could dig up the body and sell it (not the body) at a discount to the young lady. I think a 60/40 split of the proceeds is fair, don't you?
