Sorry for hijacking, but the thread suits my questions.
I'd also like to upgrade to ESS from NOD32. Is it worth the extra $$? Is the firewall as top notch as the antivirus?
    Thanks.

It's a wonderful software package and the firewall is really quite good.
The only reason i went back to Nod32 was because no matter what i did (And i followed every official and unofficial guide) i couldn't get homework to work.

I even put the software into full interactive mode and made sure Homegroup support was ticked and it still didn't work.
If you don't need homegroup then by all means get ESS because it is great software!

yes its worth it. The firewall is very good when set to strict setting. I like the way anti-spam works so to me, yes it is defintely worth going with or upgrading to ESS.

Okay, I upgraded to ESS. Pretty nice, but I wonder if there are any recommended settings apart from default?
I selected "Strict protection" and now I can't see my other computers in my home network. :/

You have told it you are on a public Internet connection eg at a free wifi hotspot so it is blocking other local users as is appropriate for that environment. You do not want strict protection.

Default protection is best for most users. Interactive mode provides greater control but more popups.

    Hi,

You will need to make changes in advanced settings. Follow the instructions to change your settings from 'strict protection' to 'allow sharing' and enabling the correct services
