I have SIM cards in my Ipad and Iphone. I don't really use the "App store" very often and I always connect via wi-fi, not with data... My question is, how much personal data is stored on the SIM card? Should/can I take it out of the devices and expect them to work flawlessly? :D I know they have some personal identifying info on them... Thx guys.

Well, you would only be able to make 911 calls without a SIM. Other than that, the device will work on Wi-Fi, no problem. Contacts can be stored on SIM Cards, but the OS should have a way of showing you if they are. I believe the IMSI is stored on the SIM, .vs the IMEI being stored on the phone. Both can identify you, so getting rid of the SIM would cut that in half.
