I set up the following for a family pc mainly for surfing and some office applications:

    1. Windows XP Home
    2. Limited User Account
    3. Private Firewall (default settings)
    4. Data Execution Prevention for all programs and services
    5. EMET for browsers, pdf reader and media players
    6. Norton DNS (Policy 1: Security)
    7. Registry Trick 1806
    8. Java disabled from browsers
    9. Chrome browser (Adblock Plus)

I want your honest opinion because I feel that this setup is light as feather and strong enough...

Usually default settings in a security software are not the safest settings. I understand that you want lightness, but neither an av ?
