assume I have set aside a 10GB for secure zone storage

inside got 9 files .... each 1 GB .....which mean left 1GB now.

if the next image I going to create is 4GB ... will it automatic use the remainign 1GB ...plus remove the first 3 older image to make spare ?

    Hello trichard,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

In the situation you described Acronis True Image will delete 3 images since after that there will be enough space to store the new image. The detailed algorythm of the behaviour in case there is not enough space in Acronis Secure Zone is described in the User's Guide (Chapter 3, point 3.2.3).

    Thank you.

    Ok ..

Does it delete all 3 initially to make way for the new file ? Or it will delete one..... cloning .... no enough .....then delete next .... and storing?

    Hello trichard,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please note, that there are two approaches available:
Disk Clone - moves the entire contents of one disk drive to another.
Create Image - creates a special archive file for backup and disaster recovery purposes.
    Please read http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/faq.html#9c

Actually Acronis True Image 8.0 does not clone your hard drive to Acronis Secure Zone, but creates an image saving it to Acronis Secure Zone.

This means that the size of the image is predetermined. In case the size of the image will be 4 GB, Acronis True Image 8.0 will delete all 3 images simultaneously and then start the disk imaging process.

    Thank you.
