Question about Google Earth's modes!

    I have an old XP Home PC. The mother board only accepts PCI cards and years ago I did install a VisionTek Radeon X1550 card. I do remember at the time of purchase it supported DirectX 8 or 9. When starting Google Earth there are three mode choices: Google Earth, DirectX or OpenGL. So what are the advantages/disadvantages, if any, among the three choices? Thank you!
