Acrobat reader is slow to open online PDF. How can I use Foxit Reader to open online PDFs in Opera and FF.
    Thanks.

Right click on any PDF file, scroll to “Properties”, the “General” tab “Opens with”… click on the button “Change...”, next you will see the “Open With” dialogue box…; select or browse to the application you want to open the PDF file. (Remember to click on “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file”)

It works in Opera for me.
Check the make default option in Foxit.

In Opera go to Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Downloads then highlight "application/pdf" and press Edit... In the "File type" window check the radio button "Open with default application" (Down you must read "....\FOXITR~.EXE").
I'm sorry but I can't attach a screenshoot. If you want I can PM you it.

Are you talking about opening PDF's with Foxit inside the browser window? If so, Foxit Pro has plug-ins for Firefox (and I would assume Opera) that let you do that. Other than that you have to wait for 2.0 to get it free.

    You have a couple options:
    1. You could change the "open with" option under the "pdf" file type which whould change both IE and any other browswer that uses the default "open with".
    2. or, You could install a Firefox extension "PDF Download Option" http://www.pdfdownload.org
This extension provides you with the options shown below.
