Keep in mind I'm very new at this forum and for a new member it takes awhile
to get familiar with the structure and habits of a forum.
I tried to put this post in the forum "FAQs" under "New Members and Help",
but I wasn't allowed to post there.

I saw the following subforums :
    - other firewalls
    - other anti-virus software
    - other anti-trojan software

    So I expected to see
    - other anti-spyware(/adware) software
    but that subforum doesn't exist.

Where do you discuss these softwares ?

In the privacy sections, generally. Although you may see some discussion in "Other Security Issues" and "Software & Services" as well. :)

    Notok,
Thank you for your quick reponse.
Nevertheless I find it strange that such an important group of softwares,
    doesn't have a separate subform.

But no problem, I'm not going to argue about this.

    James,
Right you are. I'm a regular visitor of SWI, defending the typical user amongst all these malware experts LOL.
At my job I have the advantage to live in both worlds : the typical users and the computer experts. I can assure you that both have a different logic. What experts consider as good for the users, isn't always what the users want.

But SWI is down. and I thought, why not Wilders Security Forum, I heared from them so many times.
My very first post here was a big mistake, but I have to start somewhere.
