Sorry but I am new to this...

Can Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux be used for recovery(DR) to different hardware platform? The source and target server are on different hardware platforms (source: scsi vs. target: sata).

    Thnks.

    Hello milkcandy,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Linux Server Disk Backup Software.

Acronis True Image Server for Linux will restore the image intact, however, you may encounter problems booting Linux on another hardware. We cannot guarantee that after you transfer the system to the new hard drive it will boot properly, however, we do guarantee that all the data (including system data) will be transferred.

    Thank you.
