The new version sounds very interesting, but I have a question about one item...

    Can this feature be disabled?

I manually manage my Windows Updates to minimize bandwidth on a very slow dialup connection. I'd like to be able to do the same for any app that tries to auto-update.

Perhaps setting the feature to "No updates" should do the trick. I'm yet to clarify this with our developers.

Hello, open Advanced setup tree => Tools => System updates and set up "No updates". At first I had to run Windows Update to disappear this notification.

It must be me but I can't find this option in "Advanced setup tree => Tools".

Yes, I know you can let the orange eye disappear by visiting the Windows update site only, but after a reboot the orange eye is back.

Ah, now I see. Thanks, doktornotor!

Yes, this works. The green eye is back, also after a reboot.
