Queries about features

Hello,

Just had some queries which are not answered by the help files.

When scheduling, is there any queuing of images involved? If one starts the scheduler, and selects several partitions to back up, are these performed one after the other or just shoehorned into one image?

Also, is there any way of performing an offline backup, as this would be more convenient (I dont want to use my computer during backup time anyway, so the offline mode would be more efficient).

And also, if anyone thinks there might be a product other than True Image which serves these requests better, then can they tell me?

Hello Ed,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

If you create the image of several partitions (or disks) you get one file containing the information about all the partitions (disks) you image. You will be able to restore and explore any number of partitions you have in the image.

Could you please clarify what you mean by "offline backup"? When the computer is turned off you cannot create images that is quite naturally. However, you may schedule the image creation to be performed when you turn on the computer or when you turn it off. Also Acronis True Image allows you to schedule the image creation for some particular time and with particular period (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
