    Hey!

I'm unable to play Quake Live from both Firefox and Inter Explorer 7.

Ony their website they say you need to open:
    Protocol: TCP
    Host: gaimtheory.idsoftware.com
    Port: 5222

    And maybe also ports 27000-27017

But the thing is my firefox.exe is set to allow everything, all ports, in/out and UDP/TCP.

What do Ineed to do to get this running?

    Thanks!

No, I'm afraid this issue has not been resolved.

    Any ideas Richard?

    Thanks!

I am running in interactive mode and still I do not get any questions about the rules.

If I disable the firewall temporarily Quake live works perfect

I am having a similar problem trying to run a SHOUTcast server. Turning the firewall totally off or using the interactive mode allows people to connect but I keep getting too many messages from ESS about allowing stuff. Is there a way to just allow port 8080 past the firewall or just the sv_serv.exe file?

    Hello BliND123 and Xophile,

I have sent both of you a PM requesting some more info. I want to test this to find the issue.

    Thank you,
    Richard
