is there any way to have a push install ignore the alert about another a/v software "installed"? we had symantec cleaned out (corrupt install) but there must have been some reg keys left over.

    thanks

It would be wise uninstalling any remaining traces with the vendors uninstall utility found here.

After running the uninstaller tool NOD32 installation program should not give you a warning message anymore.

    Hello apmarkey,

Brambb is correct, remnants of a previous antivirus product can cause a corrupt ESET security product install and/or the ESET security product to not work properly after install. We recommend fully cleaning out any remnants of a previous antivirus with their removal tool before push installing your ESET security product.

    Thank you,
    Richard
