On the AMON setup dialog the Advanced heuristics option is listed under "Methods on create" instead of "Methods". Why is this ?

    Marcos,
How about creating a new sticky thread that people can subscribe to and close it until the beta is ready....

That should cut down on the "are we there yet" questions and let interested parties know fairly quickly without them having to poll the forum
Discussion threads will (as always) keep growing of course

1 - Macros what does mean working on Winsock level?

2 - Also will IMON be able to detect spywares?

3 - Will you guys change IMON, AMON... wirds into Scanner, ext.. in this version or in next version 3?

4 - Also when do you plan to start working on NOD32 version 3?

    Thanks :)

    Marcos,
I think gottadoit has a point. IMHO the thread should have a title like "NOD32 2.13 release date" so it quickly catches attention, and a single post saying what this thread is for and how to subscribe. Then locked. If a moderator or major guy has some information, he could unlock and post it so everybody gets informed. Really nice, it would be.

I'm not holding my breath for it. The pressure is off ESET, take as long as you need to make sure you're happy before you let us at it. :)

I'm wondering. The Download Size of the German Version, downloading from the German NOD Side is about 6,5 MB.

Downloading the same Version, but from the US-ESET Side is about 7,65 MB.

Marcos, why is it so ? What is the differenze between this Versions ?

I'm talking about the single licence Version for XP. o_O

    Look:

    From the German Side:(www.nod32.de)
    NOD32 für Windows NT/2000/2003/XP- Standard 6.43 MB ndntgest.exe

    From: ESET ( www.eset.com)
    for Windows NT/2000/2003/XP 2.12.3 7.65 MB

Both Versions dated from today !!!

    I think so, too.

Typical Germans. There Side ist not up to date, too.

How " big " ( dont know the right english word ) is the chance getting the new public beta in german at the same time as the others ? I think, the english public beta will be the first that will be avaible, or ?

In the first step, only the English, Slovak and Czech beta versions will be available.

But I not make a tab and put the POP3 under EMON?

If EMON means Email MONitor, why not?

It's difficult because of Winsock level, or you don't want to separate this?

Perhaps I am in a minority of one, but I really like the GUI just the way it is, with AMON, DMON, IMON etc

For us, that already know, it's very easy to use, but for a new users it doesn't...

I have no problems with having a choice between what we curently have and an interface designed for the less experienced user; Drive Image 7.x for instance has a basic and an advanced view; WinZip similarly caters for the naive and more experienced user, but please let us not all be forced to use an interface designed for the naive.
