During today's upgrade to the newest version of Your Uninstaller (6.3.2009.11) Prevx flagged file pskill.exe as malicious. I trusted once this file and I was able to complete the upgrade. After that I rescanned with Prevx and no threats have been found this time. A false positive?

Maybe a kill utility as in terminates processes (not-a-virus).

Yes, it looks like being that case. I googled the file and got learn the file is not malicious in most instances but it is labelled as malicious oftenly due to its behaviour - terminating processes.

Anyhow, Joe's comments would be appreciated.

This is correct - pskill.exe is very frequently used by malware but is generally legitimate. However, because of how it is used, we end up picking it up automatically in many cases.

If you could mail me a scan log, pegas, I'll get it fixed :) Thanks!

Thank you for the log :) It looks like the pskill.exe file isn't on your system anymore but I've corrected the technically incorrect detection so the file is now trusted :)
