Dear look'n'stop users and support team,
I downloaded the new version look'n'stop 2.06. Should I use "protocol filtering activation and dll detection" enabled? Best regards.

    Hi Carioca :)

IMHO : protocol filtering is important, dll filtering is less important.

Check the advices of the others...

    :)

    Hi,

For a better protection, both need to be enabled.

DLL connecting in the context of an allowed application is something very common and easy to create.
Special Protocols connecting to internet are not so frequent, and more complicated to create. However it is a more direct method to bypass firewalls (because the TDI/Application level is not involved).
