    My pleasure, thats what we are here for :) I guess we all remember when we started out in the world of programming and also needed a little help from others to get ourselves started :)

    Python

    Great, powerful, object-oriented, and cross-platform..... Great for quick and dirty, works well for longer and thought out too.

    I use C++ [Turbo C++ for DOS] :(
    I'm just not ready to move up to winDOZE programming... it's really klutzy because emphasis is on obscure functions and libraries and whatnot.... rather than on programming style and program structure [or even code efficiency]
    I personally feel that EVERY programmer [c/c++] should be ALWAYS producing Ansi/ISO compliant code... not really achievable in TC 3 or Visual studio or Visual Studio .Net
    That's my USD 0.02, at least.
    Python does look interesting, but so do perl and javascript andother web oriented scripting languages... PHP and whatnot...

    Hey... anyone here knows microcontroller programming?
    We're supposed to start from ATMEL microcontrollers... is Kyle C any good?

    I use Pascal. It is part of my A-Level course so we have to use what ever the college decides. I'm making a database for a video hire store. I know its not very adventurous but we only started to learn about pascal and how it works etc, two yeas ago and I have only just turned 18 (not that that matters). also we had to make some kind of data handling program and all that. I do some times have bash on Basic, but thats only because it came on a cd with my playstation 2 by the way.
