program update help

    how can i update my mcafee total protection 2007 to 2008 for free? is it possible? i am very new user of mcafee:eek:

    mcafee usually offers free upgrades, i doubt it will be any different for the total suites.

    but i aint sure for certain

    just download 2008 total,

    and after its installed and the login screen of the program loads up, put in your username and password that you created when you registered 2007.

    it should boot up fine, and the licence continues.....

    have you tried asking mcafee support?

    Yes, they don't reply, that is the problem. Support is HORRIBLE:mad:
