    well guys

i've been using Toshiba Laptop for two years

it got briked the system Broke down Blow up what ever you want

i used the recovery disk that i created when i got the Laptop for the First time
and let me say it's something discusting

it will delete all disk partion and reinstall windows on one Partion
so i will lose all data on those other partion
i've been Looking for an installer disk for Vista so i can use to reinstall the windows without Deleting those stuff anyway i found one MSDN but it need subscribtion to get :thumbd: i can't subscribe

i have the serial number stuck beneath the laptop
anyway i found an ISO installer on MDL with a signature so i think it's legit

    after all that drama
i want a recovery Program that will make an image to disk Like c
and Can make Recovery i need something that run from dos
it's the First time i use a recovery Program what do you recommend

edit: also i want to Burn the image to DVDs

You'll find no end of opinions here...personally I would look at IFW/IFD (Image for DOS) and DriveSnaphot (DS). All have strong DOS command line options. I would suggest trying them out (they all have fully functional trials). That being said, my advice would be to steer away from burning images to DVD IF POSSIBLE...I assume you have your reasons, but I have always found it unreliable. Good luck!

I use Keriver 1 click restore free. Works great but do not install the linux boot console. When I tried that on my wifes laptop I started to get boot errors. Just make the recovery disc & use that. Shadow Protect also really works nice & will do what you want.

Cool. Let us know how it goes. I haven't used Keriver myself, but it seems highly regarded on this forum.
