program to lookup windows ID codes

does anybody know a program to lookup event ID codes as shown in the windows event log viewer.

I have a Vast list of Event ID codes and definitions in an Excel file if you like,
also an Excel file that acts like a task manager should a virus disable yours.

I thought when you look at the logs and select "View Details" or something like that, that it does get pretty specific.

 

Yes true, but sometimes MS event viewer does not express enough detail in terms of definitions. This excel file has over 380 detailed event ID definitions in " Lehman terms ", albeit it does not have every single ID code definition, and has not been updated in a while.

The above site also has resolutions and is very extensive in detail and possible causes and fixes.
