Problems with NOD or viruses? Try this first

    Control Center profile is one , the Context menu profile is something else , this is "what you are missing".

    As far as I can remember there was something specific with this virus but try the general instructions:

    1. Make sure your definition is up-to-date by pressing Control Center -> Update -> Update now

    2. Make sure your settings are the same as this tutorial.

    3. Boot in Safe Mode and then perform full scan there . Open Start -> Programs -> ESET -> NOD32. Make sure NOD uses Control Center profile and perforum full Scan&Clean over your hard drives . NOD32 will take care of these threats :) This means automatic Cleaning and placing a secure copy in the Quarantine just in case .

    4. Then after cleaned , restart in Normal mode .

    5. Download and use Ewido Micro for second opinion ( if is an anti-trojan/anti-spyware tool)


    If you continue having problems , contact ESET Tech Support . Don't forget to provide them with a link to this thread and also perform full scan on all your computers
