    I de-installed 2.259 (which had some minor bugs but mostly worked, and installed 2.273.

    This one doesn't work AT ALL. When I try to backup files/folders, select my email folder, use default options, backup to a different partion of the pimary drive, I get the following error message window:

    TrueImage Service
    The program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists...

    In the details, it says Caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:0ffffff.

    The problem is repeatable. I can't get the backup to work at all. I'm running WIN98SE, 512M ram, 2Ghz Athlon XP

    2.599 was a step forward. 2.273 is a big step backwards.

    Jeeze,

    Hello NielN,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Please accept my apologies for the delay with the response.

    Could you please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post?

    Please also do the following:

    - Press the Start button, choose Run, type "drwtsn32" and press Enter;

    - In the dialog that appears check the Log File and Crash Dump paths, then press the OK button;

    - Run Acronis True Image and reproduce the problem;

    - Pick up the user.dmp and drwtsn32.log files in the directory specified at step 2;

    Send all the collected files and information to support@acronis.com along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
