If there is no update available, why get the notice "error connecting to server...?"

The error is there when NOD runs its updater and encounters a server that does not reply. It switches to the nest update server in its list, and logs the error (as you have seen).

BTW 1.1373 is the latest update for now :)

I have the same version 1.1373 (20060120), just no "error connecting to server".

So long as you are seeing updates occur there really isn't a problem. It is rare for me to look at my update logs, as updates are seen daily on most occasions.

    Cheers :D

Same problem here for a week or so.

    I couldn't update from 1372 to 1375 and now 1376 anymore.

Automatic update isn't there to be seen anymore so manually is the way like the previous topics only server problems screens are to be seen.

Is this a problem on my site?

    Hi Image, welcome to Wilders.

Are you saying "Choose Automatically" is no longer functioning? or are you saying that Nod32 simply will not update automatically any more?

    Cheers :D

    Hi Blackspear,

Thanks for the reply as i really could use some help with this one.

I can click on automatic, but it does not for a week now download them anymore and i have to do it manually.
When i do this i get this server error ?
I have to try to manually update several times and then on one of the occasions it so far has worked out ok to update, but this isn't how it should be.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Hi Image,

Please download a FRESH copy of Nod32 from www.nod32.com

    Uninstall your current version.

    REBOOT your Computer.

Remove the Eset Folder from C Drive> Program Files.

Install the FRESH copy of Nod32 that you downloaded above using “Typical Settings”.

Let us know how you go…

    Cheers :D
