Problem with uninstall 4.3

I have D/L the new 4.3 version, however when following your instructions for uninstalling the old version 4.3 I am having a problem. When i open SB ver 4.3 it says data base error and thus will not let me disable all protection, also enable all protection, what should I do to uninstall it in that case.

Yes sorry I meant D/L 4.4. Also yes those were the instructions except I dont have auto update. I did a restore on my computer that probably what is screwing it up also. From what I read I should just install 4.4 over it (I just let it pick where), then go to add/remove programs and uninstall 4.3 version? There is no problem with disabling all protection first?

 

Yes, 4.4 in the SAME DIRECTORY - over the top. You should then be able to perform a complete removal and reinstall fresh.
